The Why
At NXTUS, Inc, we are a catalyst for the region’s startup ecosystem. We serve as a nexus for entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners, and the community at large, and we help achieve a thriving ‘next us’ by growing startups, strengthening innovation culture and building support systems.
Based in Wichita, we collaborate with other entrepreneur support organizations, government agencies, economic development groups, corporate innovators, and, most of all, founders and investors to positively impact and advance the economy, culture and vitality in the Heartland.
NXTUS currently manages Accelerate Venture Partners, a fast-growing regional Angel investor syndicate, and NXTSTAGE Startup Programs, aimed at connecting startups to mature businesses and regional partners looking to become customers for their technologies.
One of our core values is to make sure we find and support entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, meeting them where they are, with respect to their knowledge of business, innovation and technology. For our region to thrive, we want and need as many entrepreneurs as we can get. We are an organization that seeks and serves from all corners of the community, committed to providing customized support to all who have an idea and want to make it grow.
Background
In 2016, NXTUS was born from a shared vision among experienced entrepreneurs to reinvigorate the entrepreneurial spirit of Wichita. What began as an initiative known as e2e has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting founders and advancing innovation across Kansas.
From the beginning, the focus has been on helping early-stage companies build strong foundations through mentorship, programming, and meaningful connections to the resources they need to grow.
To expand access to capital, Accelerate Venture Partners was established, strengthening the region’s investment ecosystem and creating new opportunities for founders to scale their businesses.
As NXTUS, the organization ushered in a new era of innovation through its NXTSTAGE programs, bringing together founders, corporations, and community partners to solve real-world challenges. These efforts have attracted entrepreneurs from across the country and around the world to engage with opportunities in Kansas.
NXTUS continues to evolve its programming to meet the needs of founders at every stage. This includes initiatives focused on customer traction, enterprise engagement, capital access, and industry-specific growth, supporting both emerging and underserved sectors.
In collaboration with a growing network of partners, NXTUS plays a key role in strengthening the statewide innovation ecosystem and fostering connections between startups, investors, and established organizations.
Today, NXTUS has supported thousands of startups, connected founders to critical resources, and helped mobilize millions in capital, fueling the continued growth of entrepreneurship in Kansas.
