Free Workshop: Website Basics for Business Growth

  • Woolsey Hall in the Fidelity Bank Ballroom 2060 North Mid Campus Drive Wichita, KS, 67208 United States (map)

Join Wichita State University and NXTUS for a free, hands-on workshop built for entrepreneurs ready to build or strengthen their online presence. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining an existing site, this session will help you create a website that clearly communicates your value and supports your business goals.

Through this session led by Marisa Vanskiver, Senior Educator at WSU and CEO at Captain Coder, we’ll focus on the fundamentals that matter most: clear messaging, thoughtful structure, and a user experience designed to convert visitors into customers. You’ll learn how to articulate what makes your business unique and translate that into a site that works for you with no technical background required.

Through a mix of interactive exercises, small group breakouts, and real-world examples, you'll get practical feedback on your own online presence and leave with tangible next steps you can actually use.

Free parking is available outside of Woolsey Hall. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
